WHEN: Wednesday, June 10, 6:30pm reception, 7:00pm program

WHERE: 2350 N. Racine, Chicago, 60614, Fullerton Stage

ABOUT:
The Lincoln Park Community Research Initiative announces its spring program – WBEZ91.5 Curious City Comes to Lincoln Park. WBEZ’s Curious City team answers a listener’s question about how and why the story of Lincoln Park’s city cemetery was forgotten, and what other Chicago neighborhoods have similar histories below the surface.

The program will be moderated and reported by WBEZ’s Logan Jaffe, the presentation will be the “prequel” to the radio/online story released the week after.

Panelists:
Pamela Bannos, Associate Professor, Northwestern University
Robert Loerzel, local author and photographer

We’ll extend the conversation to talk about cemetery space in Chicago’s urban planning, and why finding bones in the city is more common than you might think.

This event is Free and open to the public. We do request an RSVP at
www.lpcri.eventbrite.com

Public transportation is strongly encouraged. Discounted parking is available at the Clifton Garage located at 2330 N. Clifton for $7.00.
